The Hampshire Compact

 
Hampshire County Council and the Voluntary and Community Sector in Hampshire have developed the Hampshire Compact, a joint agreement which sets out a framework for future working relationship

The two sectors are committed to working together to improve mutual communication, understanding, collaboration, trust and respect in the true spirit of partnership to the benefit of the people of Hampshire.

The County Council and the Voluntary and Community Sector are jointly committed to develop more open and effective channels of communication, to draw up codes of practice to implement these common principles and to set up procedures to monitor and review the Compact to ensure its continuung effectiveness

The compact can only be successful and help us to work more effectively together if we all commit to making it work. The participation of organisations both large and small and from all areas of activity is vital.

The Hampshire Compact Development Group is delighted that Carers Together in Hampshire has signed up to the Compact.
